Dental contact lenses are highly translucent ceramic laminates bonded to the front face of the teeth to correct shape, color, alignment and small asymmetries.
At KI each piece is digitally planned and executed with maximum enamel preservation. The goal is not to standardize smiles — it is to reveal what is already there with balance, light and natural texture.

How much do dental contact lenses cost at Clínica KI?
The price depends on the number of teeth involved, the complexity of the case and the type of ceramic used. We always prepare a personalized quote after the clinical evaluation.
Do the teeth need to be filed down?
In many cases the reduction is minimal or nonexistent (no-prep technique). When some preparation is required, it stays within the enamel, preserving tooth structure.
How long do the lenses last?
With proper bonding and hygiene, dental contact lenses have proven longevity of more than 10 years, and can last much longer.
Does it hurt to place dental contact lenses?
The procedure is comfortable. In most cases we use mild local anesthesia only as a precaution, and recovery is usually uneventful.
What is the difference between dental contact lenses and veneers?
A dental contact lens is an ultra-thin veneer, usually less than 0.5 mm, indicated for cases requiring little or no reduction. A traditional veneer is slightly thicker and covers more tooth structure.
